The concept
🧿 Imagine a theatre with a stage where you do not have to perform nor deliver anything but you. A stage where you can explore all that you are, alone or with others.

🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏻 This stage is interactive, very creative and very safe at the same time. It's based on Improv and Gestalt Therapy, but allows most forms of theatre and spectacle to happen. Come and be celebrated for who you are! NO performance needed, you can be a spectator and actor, all are welcome.

Who are we?

• Martin Marstrand: The Creative Seed behind the Enlightened Stage, Martin has been mixing a life time of self-love work and improv theatre with Gestalt Therapy. That fine mix of experiences allows him to be as comfortable gently welcoming people to the stage as towering as he portrays his own demons to our delight.
• Martins Avots: An improviser at soul, Martins invites people to let go of their need for perfection and embrace the beautiful uncertainty of being alive. He's the solid line holding the crowd together as we dive deeper and deeper into our improvised scenarios.
• Rita Bandeira: A professional actress, Rita's the beating heart of the group. She'll produce the event with the same level of enthusiasm and intensity she brings to the stage, and have everyone running around in merry circles with her dynamics and theatre exercises thrown into the mix.
• Stefano Aguiar: A portrait photographer by trade, Stefano has mastered the ability to make people feel comfortable and safe within almost any scenario. He's a creative and restless mind that found on the Enlightened Stage the perfect output for all the crazy inside.

In each event at least two of us will be present to lead you through this journey together.

Our time flow/program:
19:00- 19:30 Socializing
19:30- 20:00 Warm up and safe space
20:00 - 22:30 The Enlightened Stage
22:30- 23:00 For those, that want to reflect upon the experience, talk and laugh, feel free to stay :-)
We also sometimes go out together afterwards.

Please be on time, as we want to get to know you. Door closes at 19:30.

If you need to go earlier please feel free to do so! We just kindly ask you to make a theatrical exit :-))

Additional information
Our dream is to create a Porto Theatre scene that attracts people from all walks of life to express themselves in this open-minded and creative stage.

All languages are welcome, Gibberish, Portugese, Spanish and English are the base.
