The Estuary at Connections Coffee

We meet at New Westminster Christian Reformed Church (8255 13th Ave., Burnaby, BC) on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 7:00 PM–9:00 PM at Connections Coffee (Coffee and croffles available for purchase during the first 30 minutes)

Our first meeting will take place on OCTOBER 22, 2026.

Our ‘estuary’ provides a welcoming space for meaningful conversation on a variety of topics, not predetermined. We encourage an environment of openness, honesty, and intellectual diversity. Our group offers community by meeting regularly to engage in structured dialogue, especially for those who may not have such a space elsewhere. You aren’t here to find like‑minded people, but people who value the open exchange of diverse ideas.

Our Primary Objectives:

• Cultivate Open Exchange. Foster a respectful setting where people can share and explore differing viewpoints on a wide range of questions, guided by curiosity and goodwill.
• Build Community Through Dialogue. Provide consistent opportunities for participants to connect through conversation, forming friendships grounded in mutual respect and genuine listening.
• Encourage Thoughtful, Structured Discussion. We will use the Estuary Protocol to guide conversations.
