T-shirt Upcycling Workshop
Details
Give an old T-shirt a new lease of life.
Using upcycling and mending techniques, you’ll learn how to personalise and reimagine your T-shirt through patchwork, cutouts, appliqué and simple embroidery. It’s a playful, hands-on way to make something completely your own while keeping a garment in use and out of landfill.
The workshop is beginner-friendly and needs no sewing experience. All tools, customisation materials and guidance are provided. You’ll leave with a piece you’ve customised yourself and practical skills you can use at home.
Bring your own T-shirt, or choose one of ours
Have a tee that’s faded, stained or just a bit boring? Bring it along and give it a second chapter. If you don’t have one, we’ll have a limited selection of T-shirts to choose from, kindly donated by Shelter.
