About us
This is a monthly horror book club for lovers of cult classics, eerie atmosphere, and stories that linger long after the last page.
This group is perfect for Stephen King lovers, while also summoning other genres of horror and newer indie releases. Member recommendations are always welcomed.
We’ll meet at the end of each month for roughly 1-2 hours to discuss the book in a relaxed, conversational setting. No pressure to speak a lot, no pressure to finish every page. Thoughtful vibes over academic analysis. Location will be centered in the East Bay (Berkeley/Oakland), but any ghoul who is willing to drive is always welcomed.
From time to time, we may also plan optional group outings to see horror films in theaters, especially when something interesting or genre-worthy is released. Or if there is any horror related events you would like to share on the page, feel free!
