Corporate Cringe Picnic
Modern work culture is exhausting, isolating, and…let’s be honest, deeply embarrassing.
So, you’re invited to a relaxed Saturday afternoon park meetup where we collectively make fun of it all: LinkedIn brain, hustle brainrot, corporate buzzwords, motivational gurus, “we’re a family,” productivity obsession, and everything in between.
We’ll do a few light, silly activities (totally voluntary) such as LinkedIn Post Monologues, Corporate Jargon Translator, Performance Review From Hell, and a “Unionise, but comically!” zine/poster making. Plus, general cringe-sharing and casual hanging out.
Open to anyone — corporate, nonprofit, academia, freelance, service work, startup… If you’ve ever been asked to “hop on a quick call,” you belong here.
Optional: bring a piece of cringe (blur names/logos)
- a screenshot
- a cursed job ad / HR email / rejection message
- a “motivational” quote or book excerpt
- your worst workplace buzzword
- a short story you’re okay sharing
- corporate merch (mug, badge, tote, lanyard)
Ground rules
No naming companies or individuals. Blur names/logos. No photos of people without consent. No unsolicited advice. This is satire — we’re laughing at the system, not targeting individuals.
