In cities like New Delhi, it’s possible to live among millions of people and still feel disconnected. Much of contemporary life is fast, evaluative, and transactional. Genuine spaces for slow, unstructured presence are increasingly rare.
An Evening Together is a small, in-person gathering organised by The Firgun Collective. It is an experiment in spending time together without performance, optimisation, or fixed agendas.
There will be no speakers, panels, or formal programme.
Instead, we will:
- Sit together
- Talk and listen
- Get to know one another gradually
- Explore what it might mean to rebuild small forms of community in everyday life
This is not a networking event, therapy session, debate forum, or social club. It’s a simple, intentional gathering for people who are open to regular presence, shared responsibility, and collective reflection.

The gathering will be intentionally small. You’re welcome to come as you are. There’s no expectation to be articulate or prepared. If you’d like to bring something small to share—a poem, a short reading, some food, a song—you’re welcome to, but it is entirely optional.
