What we’re about
The Florida RetroComputer Club was founded in 2017 with the aim of connecting Florida-based retrocomputer enthusiasts and collectors. Our inaugural meeting was held in August 2017 in the conference room of a Dunkin’ Donuts in Plantation, FL. The club organizes several meetings per year, mainly in the Broward County area. Our goal is to open multiple chapters throughout the state of Florida and eventually to organize an annual convention for the larger public.
The Club's mission is about bringing together a community of people who enjoy our computer technology past. It is also about educating and learning from each other, as well as creating opportunities for our members to meet face to face, collaborate on projects, inspire one another for new ideas or concepts, and forge new friendships.
