Drum Circle at The New Guinea Sculpture Garden!

Begginner Friendly event!

What to expect: we gather around playing percussion instruments (mostly djembes/ ashikos) adding bits and pieces to create beautiful polyrhythms. I will be facilitating and starting rhythms while the more seasoned drummers will help keep the beat while newbies ease into the groove!

There will be few extra drums (first come first serve) but please do not forget YOUR CHAIR :) (there are a few benches not directly in the circle).

Hand drumming has mamy benefits such as:
-lowers stress/ cortisol levels
-a great way to learn new skills while having fun
-burns calories and helps strengthen hands
-community based/helps make new friends while connecting to spirit

Event is free but i do collect donations which help me as your drum circle organizer!
Accepted payments: cash (is preffered), venmo, cashapp, zelle, apple cash, paypal, and even donations of instruments or percussion equipement.
