West-Side Book Worms

Do you like to curl up with a good book? Can you get lost in a story and lose track of time? Do you think reading can broaden your horizons, open your mind and take you on great adventures? Would you enjoy getting together with a fun group of people to discuss a book? Well, this is the group for you!

We are the West-Side Book Worms, book lovers from all over the west side of Houston. Actually, we don't care where you are coming from, you are welcome to join us. Our meetings will happen in various venues.

All members are welcome to host a book discussion meeting if they have read a great book that they want to discuss with others. Sometimes you read a good book, and when it is over, you aren't done. You want to talk about it with other people to see what they thought. Just host a book club meeting and get some other folks to read it and get excited about it too!! Sometimes you hear some thoughts that were very different from your own! You decide when and where you want to host a meeting. It can be at a restaurant, a library or your home. It can be on a weekend or a weekday. Totally up to you. If you have questions about how to host feel free to ask an organizer. 

Occasionally I may post another event that I have discovered - perhaps a movie based on a book. So, visit the site frequently and start reading!!
