***I have hosted travelers through Morocco, Peru, Cuba and Mexico, including unforgettable experiences like swimming with whale sharks and most recently, celebrating Día de Muertos in Oaxaca. I create trips that are immersive, meaningful and centered on authentic cultural connection. ***
My trips have been women only-40+ until now. I will continue to run women only as well, but have had many people asking to bring their partners -one person wanted to bring her brother who is her bestie! Going forward there will be both, but unless noted it will always be 40+!
Join me for a magical winter journey through Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania - three historic capitals transformed into holiday wonderlands during this time!
We begin in Tallinn, a true fairytale city with stone walls, candlelit cafés, and an old town that has barely changed in centuries. We’ll take a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed historic center, stroll through the famous Christmas Market beneath its iconic tree, and step inside one of Tallinn’s oldest coffee houses for a charming marzipan workshop. You’ll have time to explore museums, boutique shops, and the cozy medieval streets at your own pace.
From there, we travel south toward Riga, stopping in the seaside town of Pärnu to taste traditional apple cider. In Riga, you’ll experience one of Europe’s most atmospheric Christmas settings. A guided city tour will introduce us to Riga’s world-renowned Art Nouveau architecture, the stunning old town, St. Peter’s Church, Dome Square, and the city’s medieval roots. The Riga Christmas markets are a highlight — full of handmade crafts, wooden ornaments, and Baltic holiday flavors.
Our journey continues into Lithuania, where we explore the impressive Bauska Castle before arriving in Vilnius, home to another spectacular UNESCO World Heritage old town. Here, we’ll wander through winding baroque streets, take in the history, and experience the warm glow of the Vilnius Christmas Market, filled with local artisans and holiday treats. You'll have time to discover charming cafés, galleries, and festive corners of the city.
This is a such a unique winter escape filled with culture, tradition, history, and holiday magic!
