About us

The Found Sisterhood is a friendship-focused community for women, trans women, non-binary people, and gender-diverse adults aged 25+ in Toronto and the GTA who are looking to build meaningful connections, genuine friendships, and a sense of belonging.

Join us for brunches, coffee meetups, book clubs, wellness events, board game nights, murder mystery experiences, creative activities, local adventures, and more.

Whether you’re new to the city or have lived here for years, single or partnered, a parent or not, working, studying, retired, or somewhere in between, you’ll find a welcoming community of people who believe life is better when we support one another.

The Found Sisterhood is built on kindness, inclusion, respect, and authentic connection. We’re here to create friendships that extend beyond events and become part of everyday life.

💛 The Found Sisterhood Community Guidelines

  1. Be Kind & Respectful

Treat every member with kindness, respect, and empathy. We welcome people from different backgrounds, identities, experiences, and walks of life.

  2. Inclusive Community

The Found Sisterhood welcomes women, trans women, non-binary people, and gender-diverse adults aged 25+. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, hate speech, or exclusionary behaviour will not be tolerated.

  3. Friendship First

This community exists to create genuine friendships and meaningful connections. Come with an open mind, a friendly attitude, and a willingness to get to know others.

  4. Support One Another

Life comes with highs and lows. Whether someone is navigating a new city, a career change, a breakup, parenthood, health challenges, business goals, or personal growth, we strive to be a supportive community.

  5. Respect Privacy

What’s shared within the community should stay within the community unless permission is given to share it elsewhere.

  6. No MLMs, Recruiting, or Spam

Please do not use the group to recruit for MLMs, pyramid schemes, or aggressively promote products, services, or businesses.

  7. Event Participation

Many events will have limited spots. Please RSVP responsibly and update your RSVP if your plans change so another sister can attend.

  8. Have Fun & Be Yourself

Come as you are. We believe authentic friendships are built when people feel safe, accepted, and valued.
