Join us for a relaxed Friday evening gathering where French learners come together to practice conversation in a warm, judgment-free environment. Think of it as your virtual French café—a place to unwind after the week, connect with fellow learners, and simply enjoy speaking French.

This session is designed for adults at all levels (A2 and above) who want to use their French in authentic, meaningful conversations. Join if you can create sentences, understand and reply to questions, express yourself even if partially or imperfectly.

Whether you've just completed your first course or you're more advanced, you're welcome here. We'll explore topics that range from lighthearted and fun to thought-provoking and deep, depending on where the conversation takes us. Topics will change week after week.

There's no curriculum, no homework, and no pressure—just the pleasure of connecting with others through the French language. Share stories, discuss ideas, laugh together, and practice your French in the most natural way possible: by having real conversations.

Come as you are, bring your favorite beverage, and let's enjoy that cozy café atmosphere together—from wherever you are in the world. :)

Level: Open to those who can have a 30-min conversation in French
Number of participants: 15 maximum
Minimum age required: 18+ years old
No minors will be allowed, and no exceptions.

What to expect

• Nearly 2 hours of conversation entirely in French.
• Light guidance and gentle nudges to keep conversations flowing naturally.
• A mix of casual, curious, and deeper themes—think travel, work, culture, habits, goals, creativity, and everyday life.

Who it’s for

• A2 to C1 learners (students but not necessarily my students) who want to stay sharp and speak more spontaneously.
• Adult learners (anyone and everyone) who value a respectful, supportive atmosphere.

What to bring

• A camera and mic (please keep your camera on if possible).
• A notebook for new words or expressions.
• A spirit of curiosity and kindness.

House rules

• This is a language space—be welcoming, patient, and inclusive.
• Keep it French as much as you can (no stress—supportive help is always available).
• No unsolicited private messaging or “pitching.” Respect boundaries and the group vibe.
• Adults only. (Minors not allowed)

You’ll leave with more ease, more confidence, and more French in your mouth—plus a few new expressions you can use right away.

About Me

In 2017, I was hired as a French teacher by a university in Spain.

Since March 2020, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching French
to 750 students from many countries, delivering more than
5,500+ French lessons, online and in person (as of Oct. 1, 2025).
