The Friendly Sketchers Weekly Gathering Spot is a low-pressure space for anyone who enjoys drawing or wants to get back into the habit of picking up a pencil. We meet once a week to sketch together in a relaxed environment where the goal is simply to be creative and enjoy each other's company. Whether you are a seasoned artist or someone who has not sketched since grade school, you are welcome here. There is no formal instruction, just a supportive group of people working on their own projects side-by-side.
Our gatherings are meant to be a quiet, comfortable break from the week. We encourage a friendly atmosphere where we can share tips, discuss our progress, or just enjoy the meditative process of sketching while chatting with neighbors. You do not need any special equipment to join us, just bring whatever sketchbook and supplies you prefer to use. We look forward to meeting you and seeing what you are working on.
