What we’re about

This group makes space for many parts of life. It is a place to explore interests, to form friendships, and to work with self development tools that help us understand ourselves and build stronger relationships. It is also a place for the kind of friendships that grow through shared experience. The intention is to bring more variety, connection, and richness of experience into our lives.

This group meets two full Sundays each month. The locations will change from event to event, moving through London parks, fields, marshes, gardens, and other green spaces. When weather makes outdoor work difficult, we will spend the day in places such as Kew Gardens, the Natural History Museum, or other indoor settings where the day can continue without interruption. The work produced through these Sundays will contribute to an individual self-published output every three months, which gives people a sense of completion and momentum as their work develops.

In this group you will engage with walking, recording, and creating. Walking means spending time in nature and moving through different green spaces in London. Recording includes listening and sound recording, filming, photography, bird watching, and written notes gathered during the day. Creating is the stage where writing, sound art, video art, editing, self-publishing, and inner work take shape.

There is no required level of skill or knowledge. What matters is the wish to take part in activities that open life up a little more, and to meet others in a setting that feels welcoming and grounded.
