Increasingly application systems evolve, and often in unexpected ways. Based on two years of work on new, complexity based approaches to design new ideas involving a typology of scaffolding types and defining “points of coherence” in which sub-systems and human activities can interact offer intriguing ideas of a new way of thinking and acting based on an assumption of inherent uncertainty.
