The Future of Work Scotland team are delighted to welcome Col Maggs as our November guest speaker.

In this session Col will help us explore the simple fact that every strength we bring to work has a flip side. The same quality that helps us succeed can also get in the way when it’s overused or out of balance. In this session, we’ll use the CS Strengths Deck to explore how our talents show up in real life, both when they help us shine and when they trip us up. We’ll see how different strengths show up differently for different people, share examples, look for patterns, and identify small, practical actions to develop our strengths further and use them more intentionally day to day.

Learning Objectives - what you'll take away from this session:

  • A simple way to explore your personal strengths and where they come from
  • Insight into how each strength can tip into a “stumble” when pushed too far
  • Practical ideas for rebalancing and developing your talents
  • A personal action step to help you apply your strengths more effectively
  • Space to share experiences and learn from others

Here's a little more about our amazing guest speaker:
