Let's meet weekly at the Gaithersburg Library Group Room #2 to talk about everything and anything related to finding your best self both physically, mentally, and spiritually. Also, bring your favorite tips, recipes, and topics of discussion that helps you meet your own personal H&W goals! I'll start.
Tip 1:
To make sure that I have no excuses for not going to my 24-hour access gym, I keep an extra gym bag ready in my car for that last minute workout or extra workout. If I do a longer more intensive workout, I reward myself with flexibility on when I can do my next workout. It breaks up the monotony of my routine plus I feel like I'm ahead in my calorie burning goals. It's like a mind trick. Sometimes we do what we can even trick our own minds so that we stay on track.
Tip 2: Since I'm a low carb dieter, I keep keto sticks with me at all times to make sure that I'm not accidentally going over my allowable carb intake. I have them in my bathroom, in my purse, and in my car. I don't like weighing myself daily as weight loss takes time but this can give me instant gratification that I'm on the right track.
