Open Session of D&D (2014): Rebels of the Hollow Crown

Please join us for a night of D&D! New and seasoned players welcome! This is part of an open session. That means these sessions are designed to allow anyone to sign up and enjoy any game. If you come back and play multiple sessions you will see a larger story arc unfold.

Level 3 characters, D&D, 2014 5e.
Time: Game time is 7:30pm. You may arrive 15 minutes prior, but please be ready to play by 7:30pm and please let us know if you will be late

Setting: 🌙 Rebels of the Hollow Crown
“No throne stands forever.”
A year ago, the pristine kingdom of Brovaria — ruled by the eccentric and image-obsessed brothers Chad, Thad, and Brad — was shaken to its core. A ragtag group of adventurers, now only known in whispers as The Crownbreakers, turned the kingdom's pomp into chaos and made fools of the tyrants in public view. But their victory was short-lived; betrayed and imprisoned, the rebels vanished… yet their legend only grew.
Now, beneath Brovaria’s polished streets, an underground movement simmers. Led by the cunning and quietly charismatic Tarn Everlight, this growing network of misfits, dreamers, and discarded folk is picking up where the Crownbreakers left off. With the brothers reclaiming power and cracking down harder than ever, it’s time for new sparks to rise — and challenge a crown built on exclusion and fear.

Character backstory: Your character is part of the rebellion or has at least infiltrated this scene and decided for one reason or another to work with them. For now you take on quests, whether it is because you are shunned from other areas, gather information, or truly interested in joining this guild.

Character Sheet: Please bring character sheet. You may roll or use point buy. Level 3. Starting equipment.

Location: This is a private residence. Access is by stairs. When you pull into the long driveway keep to the left until you see cars, park, and head down the wood stairs to the red door. We do have a dog that loves people. We also have cats that will never be out, but we mention this in case people are allergic.

What to bring: Your completed character sheet, pencil, snacks/drinks (bonus points if you want to bring stuff for the group, but not necessary)

RSVP: Please sign up if you are interested! Join the waitlist as sometimes spots open up or we add in more people. We kindly ask people to let us know 48 hours prior to the event if you can no longer attend to give us time to fill the spot. We understand emergencies arise, so please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make it. No-shows and frequent last-minute cancelations may lose their spots for feature games.

Plus ones: We do not allow people to sign up with plus-ones, however, if you do have one message the organizer to see if there is room.
