This might be one of our geekiest events this year. No experience needed.
We're going to set up at least 4-5 computers with the game in The Gamer Club and try to give it a shot.
I've not put a limit on this event, as we'll try to give everyone a shot at different crew/roles in the game (or if you bring a laptop we might be able to get two ships/crews working at the same time).
I've purchased a site licence so we can install it on as many computers as we have.

- Mahjong intro night for beginners - traditional Chinese gameThe Gamer Club, Glasgow
Daniel has offered to run an intro night to Mahjong, the traditional tile-based Chinese game.
Daniel is planning to teach us the version he's most familiar with, the Japanese variant, it's a 4 player game (we'll match people up on the night).
It's something I've always wanted to try (I've played the solitaire version on a computer, but not with live players). Should be interesting!We'll have a number of sets and tables set up to give everybody a chance to play.
The venue is BYOB, so bring along your favourite/drinks snacks.
Note: This event is for beginners and intermediates. If you have played with us before, you may arrive an hour earlier and Daniel will teach some advanced play and rules.
