🎵 Did You Know? — The Story Behind “Ocean Way”
The name has some pretty cool Santa Monica music history behind it.
In the 1970s, musician and audio designer Allen Sides began building and testing custom speakers in a small garage on Ocean Way, near the beach. Those experiments eventually grew into Ocean Way Recording, one of the most respected recording studios in music.
So when you’re dancing at Ocean Way Festival, you’re partying near where a legendary piece of LA music history began. 🌊🎶
