Attend Berry Brothers tasting at The Greyfriar, Reading

Hot on the heels of August's entertaining, and distinctly generous tasting of Audemus Spirits' Pink Pepper gin, The Greyfriar, Reading keeps the gin flowing into September.

Gin is all about tradition, and things don't get much more traditional than Berry Bros. & Rudd, wine and spirit merchants of distinction since 1698. Their No.3 London Dry Gin dates allllllll the way back to 2010 and it's one I've passed by for newer, sexier, but not necessarily better, juniper-led beverages in recent years.

And what better time to get my tastebuds, and hopefully yours, re-acquainted than when it has just walked off with the Supreme Champion gong from this year's International Spirits Challenge.

They also do an own label London Dry and maybe they'll be a little something else to sample.
