Charity Gin Tasting at Castle Tap Reading

Details
I'm doing work for charity, and I don't mind talking about it, otherwise how are you good, good people going to find out about it and, hopefully, come along to support.
A friend of mine, and Gin Cabinet member, has been on a year-long quest to raise money for Reaching the Unreached, a charity supporting children and their families in some of the very poorest parts of India (see www.rtuindia.org.uk), with her aim being to raise enough to build a house for a family there.
And as the year starts to draw to a close she's set up a Charity Gin Tasting event and kindly asked me to host, and as you know, if it's gin, I'm in!
There are only 20 places so it's a guaranteed sell out and at £25 for 6 gin & tonics, is a bit of a bargain. You can get tickets at the venue (The Castle Tap, Reading) or via
They'll be 6 different gins, 6 different tonics and 6 different garnishes for you to mix and match (666, geddit? Gin Devil... 666? Oh, never mind... some people!). Tickets can be bought via the fundraiser page (https://www.rtu.org.uk/fundraisers/please-help-lu-buy-grans-house) and please add "Lu's Gin Tasting" in the comments box to reserve your tickets.
I'll be introducing the gins and dropping in a bit of information about the links between English Gin, India and of course the drink that has now conquered The World: The Gin & Tonic, so you'll be learning things as quickly as you'll be forgetting them.
We'll be in the rear room of The Castle Tap, Reading and starts time is c.3:30 for 4 o'clock start, so should be a leisurely session to kick back and sip your gin, content that in a small way you'll be doing your bit for charity... Feels good, doesn't it?
Hope to see you there : )
