🧸 We Choose The Bear - Girls Hike! 🥾

This hike is the perfect opportunity for you to come out, see stunning sights, and chat with a girl crew that you'll know is worth choosing over the bear. If you ever worry about wanting to go on hikes like these along the water but, not wanting to go alone fear not! The girlfriend hour presents this beginner friendly hike (1.5 miles). Whether you just want to enjoy some nature in the safety of other women or are looking to socialize with other girls, this is the event for you. There is no doubt that you will create memories of this gorgeous place with people you can potentially call your new friends. All paces are welcome, you will not be left behind!

Feel free to check out the "Hiking with The Girls" album to get a reference but, if you haven't been here before I highly recommend leaving it a surprise. This is a beautiful place to see for the first time. Friends and family welcome as long as you adhere to the female only guidelines of The Girlfriend Hour group.

parking: location has a parking lot.
keep in mind there is a fee per car since it is a national park
(the receipt is good for a week for you to keep coming back).

finding the group: After you park in the lot, start walking toward the visitor center and there will be a couple benches next to a set of stairs and ramp. We will meet in this area.

tips: bring an iced water bottle, it may be hot out or you may just want a sip. use the bathroom before leaving home because, the visitor center has specific hours and the bathroom options outside of that are a port-a-potty. I believe they were still open during the same hours my event is the last time I hosted a hike here.
