What we’re about
The Girls, The Gays, and The Great Outdoors (GGGO) is an inclusive hiking and camping group for LGBTQ+ adventurers in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina area. Whether you’re an experienced backpacker or just starting to explore the outdoors, our group offers a fun and welcoming space to connect with nature and build community.
We will host hikes at North Carolina state parks and greenways. Trails may range from easy 2-mile scenic strolls to more challenging 10-mile backcountry treks. We strive to make all outings inclusive for various experience levels and physical abilities.

Instructor: Kirsten Gum
This session blends gentle, mindful movement with restorative poses to open the body, melt away tension, and welcome gratitude for the harvest season. We’ll close with deep relaxation to leave you refreshed and renewed then gather for a delicious brunch surrounded by nature.
