Welcome to Camp Rock: Hiking at Hanging Rock State Park

Join The Girls, The Gays, & The Great Outdoors of Charlotte for a day of breathtaking views, waterfall vibes, and trail-side laughs at Hanging Rock State Park!
This is a day hike adventure—no camping, just fresh air and a full afternoon of scenic exploration. We’ll meet at 10:00 AM, hit a few of the park’s most iconic trails (yes, the one with that gorgeous overlook), and break for a group lunch picnic mid-day.

• Moderate hiking (3–5 miles total with breaks)
• Waterfall and scenic overlook stops
• Group picnic (BYO lunch + snacks)
• Friendly, inclusive vibes for all LGBTQ+ folks & allies
• Done by 4:00 PM so you can still make your evening plans!

Whether it’s your first hike or your fiftieth, this is a great chance to get outside, meet new friends, and enjoy a day in nature.
