At the bungo we’re passionate about great flavours and fresh food. whether you’re looking for a light bite at lunch or something more substantial in the evening our menu is made up of delicious dishes with a focus on innovative dining created with seasonal and local produce. the bungo is a stylish, inviting bar & kitchen with a lively personality and relaxed ambiance – we love to make you feel welcome! unwind with a coffee, chat over lunch or gather with friends for dinner & drinks. alternatively, our comfortable atmosphere with free wifi access makes the bungo an ideal spot for informal business meetings.
we wanted to be a neighbourhood restaurant where locals and tourists could find something for everyone and everything was a really fantastic version, even if it were a day to day dish. home-made beef burgers on a great quality bun, our own beetroot relish, trademark fresh mayo with chipotle, ayrshire maris piper potatoes, scrubbed with their skin on and hand cut into the optimum 10mm square, tossed in maldon sea salt and fresh rosemary, we try to make every element of the dish count and add something.
