Sci-fi Book Group (3rd Wednesdays)

A regular book group night to discuss sci-fi and expand our reading horizons!

February's topic is "Hive Minds" - choose a book that features hive minds, collective consciousnesses or group minds. Think "The Borg".

Some suggestions of books to read (but feel free to chose your own):
Peter F. Hamilton - Pandora's Star
Robert A. Heinlein - Starship Troopers
Stephen Baxter - Coalescent
Peter Watts - Echopraxia
Micheal Swanwick - Vacuum Flowers

Choose one, or pick anything related to hive minds, read it and we can discuss it.

The next topic (for the March bookgroup) might be AI, first encounters etc - we'll decide on the next depending on people's interests.
