Dungeons & Dragons one shot afternoon - intro for new players

Details
An introduction to 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons hosted by Fraser, Brian and Iain.
They'll be the dungeon master (DM) and take you through a 2-3 hour self-contained adventure for level 3 characters (and spend some time at the start to help you create your character and explain the basic rules).
We have three DMs at the moment, so the event is limited to about 18 players max (though we'll have a waiting list, so do put yourself on it and we might be able to split into three or more tables if we get another experienced DM volunteer to host the other table - give me a shout if that sounds like you!)
Due to the popularity and limited player slots for this event, if you say you are attending but don't show up without informing one of the organisers with a good reason why. You'll be asked next session to wait before claiming a space, to allow those who missed out on it to claim a spot 1st.
We should have everything you need on the night; We'll supply blank character sheets, paper, pencils, dice sets to borrow, and we'll also have pre-made characters available to use if anyone would rather not create their own.
The venue isn't licenced but feel free to bring your own beer/wine or help yourself to tea and coffee from the kitchen.
You can get directions to the venue on our getting here page.
We have a D&D room on our Matrix server, you can join here with this invite link: https://glasgow.social/matrix
Later in the evening (from 7pm) we're planning to screen Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God (part of our bad movie night).
