Disaster Readiness and Relief Advocacy — Monthly Summit
Details
Bushfires, floods, cyclones and storms have always been part of life in Australia — but they are becoming more frequent and more devastating. Behind every disaster are thousands of ordinary people who have lost their homes, their livelihoods and sometimes their loved ones, facing a long road to recovery that stretches far beyond the media cycle.
And before disaster ever arrives, there are the volunteers — the firefighters, SES crews, flood rescue teams and emergency responders who train year-round and put themselves in harm's way so others don't have to. These groups are the backbone of Australia's disaster readiness, and they need our support.
This monthly summit brings together charities, supporters, volunteers and donors committed to resourcing our communities before disaster strikes and standing with them through recovery afterwards. Together we hear what's happening, support the organisations doing this vital work, and find practical ways to help.
Whether you have time, money, skills or simply a desire to help when it matters most — there is a place for you here.
Join us every [3rd Friday] of the month online.
