LGBT+ Advocacy — Monthly Summit
Details
Every person deserves to feel safe, loved and at home in the world. Yet for many LGBT+ Australians — particularly young people — that sense of belonging can feel impossibly out of reach. Rejection by family and community, isolation, significantly higher rates of depression, anxiety and suicide, and homelessness driven by family breakdown are realities that far too many LGBT+ people face.
In regional and rural Australia, where support is scarcer and judgment can be harsher, the challenges run even deeper.
But there is a better vision — one where LGBT+ Australians find a secure, celebrated place in the world, and where that flourishing makes the whole community richer. A bigger table, not a smaller one.
This monthly summit brings together charities, supporters, volunteers and donors committed to that hopeful vision — supporting LGBT+ Australians with compassion, inclusion and practical help. Together we hear what's happening, amplify the organisations doing this vital work, and find meaningful ways to get involved.
Whether you have time, money, skills or simply a belief that everyone deserves to belong — there is a place for you here.
Join us every [3rd Tuesday] of the month online.
