Welcome to our brand new THE GOOD READ BOOK CLUB in Antibes! This is our very first meeting, and it’s all about getting to know each other and deciding together what kind of book club we want to create.
What to expect:
This will be a relaxed, informal gathering where we’ll:
∙ Introduce ourselves and share our favorite reads
∙ Discuss what we’re looking for in a book club
∙ Decide on our meeting format, frequency, and book selection process
∙ Choose our first book together
∙ Set the date for our first proper book discussion
Who should come:
Anyone who loves reading and wants to connect with other book enthusiasts in English! All levels of English welcome - this is about sharing ideas and enjoying good books together, not perfect grammar.
What to bring:
Just yourself (Optional: bring a suggestion for our first book - something around 200-300 pages that others could finish in 4-6 weeks)
Practical details:
∙ No preparation needed for this first meeting
∙ Free to attend
∙ Beverages available at the venue (each person pays for their own)
