“Run Thy Race then Drink Thy Whiskey” 5k/10k/half marathon

“Run first, Drink later” is the motto!

Come join me for one of my favorite 5k events. Whether you choose the 5k, 10k, or half marathon, this race is an enjoyable experience. This race is a good place to start If this is your first race. It is a “fast and flat” track meaning the elevation is minimal. I personally always speed walk my races but feel welcome to go at whatever pace you desire and if you’re a “walker” like me, you will be in good company. Parking is pretty open and easy as the packet pickup, race, and all other festivities are held at Lee+White street plaza.

Race Day - Spetember 6 - Sunday

6:30 am - Packet Pick Up Opens - Coffee and bathrooms open at El Tesoro
7:50 am - Final Race Announcements
8:00 am - Half Marathon Start
8:30 am - 5K/10K Start
9:00 am - Whiskey sampling and churros start!
