We ❤️ Teachers 5k Atlanta

Greetings All! This is another one of my favorite 5ks in the city. Run for a cause I’m very passionate about AND maybe join a team?! I haven’t formed a team but that option is available OR form your own! This race is for walkers and runners alike so feel free to come out for a great walk or run. This track is paved but there are some hills as well. Here’s the deets 👇🏽

On 10.10.26, educators, supporters, and communities across the country will move together as part of the:

Our Atlanta event will take place on the Beltline starting at Herman J Russell West End Academy - the field behind the school.

We ❤️ Teachers Worldwide is the world's largest simultaneous teacher celebration.

Dedicate your run
Every participant can dedicate their run to a specific teacher. That teacher receives a personal digital certificate of appreciation — often the first time they've heard that kind of impact acknowledged in words. Add your dedication during registration before October 10th.

School challenge
Running with your school community? Register your school team and compete on the National School Spirit Leaderboard. Every virtual participant who joins your school team counts toward your school's national total.

🎯 GOAL
We’re aiming for:

👉 100,000 miles walked or run for educators.

Be part of making it happen.

All 5K participants receive T-shirts & Finisher Medals. T-shirts will be handed out after the race.
Race will be chip timed.

Award Categories: Overall Male and Female. Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.

New Awards for this year:

Most School Spirit (School with highest participation)
Fastest Teacher (Male & Female)
Team Champion (Lowest average time - Minimum Team Size is 4 - form your team)
Legacy Award - Best Parent-Child Duo Time

There will be music, food and prizes. Form a team and COMPETE!
