Jockey Hollow 8+ miles

This is a moderate hike encompassing several historical sites. About 1,100 ft total elevation gain, but evenly distributed over a series of low, easy hills and well-maintained trails. We will mostly follow the Grand Loop trail (White blaze) but will add Mt Kemble outer loop (Blue). Alternatively, we can do Patriots Path Loop. Map: Maps - Morristown National Historical Park (U.S. National Park Service) Let's meet at Jockey Hollow Visitor Center Parking lot (access from Tempe Wick Road; other routes are occasionally blocked) about 10 minutes ahead for departure.
Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 973-590-6231 (Linda).
**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
