Tourne County Park - 6+ Miles [**Read Parking Directions First**]

Easy-to-moderate 6 miles with about 800 ft total elevation gain. This hike will take you by a couple of small lakes, and includes a moderately steep (OK, gentle) climb to the top of a hill. Let's meet about 10 minutes ahead for departure from the Tourne County Park Parking Lot in Boonton [56 McCaffrey Ln, Boonton, NJ 07005].

NOTICE! You must arrive at parking lot from the Boonton side! You cannot arrive from the West (Denville side) because McCaffrey Lane is blocked midway, no matter what Google may tell you.

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 973-704-7362.

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
