AMC Camp Mohican / Rattlesnake Ledge 5+ Miles

This is a moderate, very scenic hike along one of the easier stretches of the Appalachian Trail. About 750 ft total elevation gain. We will head north from Camp Mohican (maintained by Appalachian Mountain Club) on Rattlesnake Swamp Trail, and return by the Appalachian Trail heading south. Let's meet at the far parking lot (past the AMC-Mohican Outdoor Center building) about 10 minutes ahead for departure!

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 973-704-7362.

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
