Apshawa Preserve 6+ Miles

The moderate hike will circle the Butler Reservoir, pass by a waterfall, and have a couple of viewpoints. We will see evidence of a lot of beaver activity. There is one significant climb which is not difficult. Depending on the recent weather there may be some potentially tricky water crossings, so hiking poles are recommended.

There are no facilites at the hike meeting location

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 201-470-9317.

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
