[**Monday / Columbus Day**] Hike 6+/- miles in Ramapo Valley County Reservation

This is a moderate hike featuring a river, two reservoirs and a waterfall. Very popular. We will do 5 to 7 miles depending on the weather. About 1,200 ft total elevation gain. Let's meet at Ramapo Valley County Reservation Parking Lot about 10 minutes ahead for departure!

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 201-470-9317 (Paul V).

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
