Post-Thanksgiving Hike @ Turkey Mountain (6+ miles)

Subdue your tryptophan shock with a vigorous hike on Turkey Mountain.` Moderate 6+ miles, about 1,000 ft total elevation gain. The hike includes a small waterfall, and the infamous "100 steps". Start and finish at Pyramid Mountain Visitor Center. Let's meet in the parking lot about 10 minutes ahead of departure time!

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 973-590-6231 (Linda).

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
