Ramapo Country Reservation

A moderate hike with 1200 feet elevation gain. The majority of the climbing will be in the first half of the hike. The hike will go to the various view points on the Vista Trail and visit one or possibly 2 waterfalls. Besides the Vista Trail the hike will explore some of the less traveled sections of the park. Exact route will be determined the day of the hike.
Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 201-470-9317
**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
