Wildcat Ridge
Details
A 6 mile hike of moderate intensity with 1000 foot vertical gain. The hike will start on 4 Birds Trail with stops at the "bat cave" and an old cemetary. the hike will continue to the Hawk Watch and after passing the Beaver Pond will desend back to the parking location. Most of the climbing will be in the first half of the hike.
Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 201-470-9317.
**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
