Join us for a guided kayak trip in Jamaica Bay—perfect for beginners and anyone looking to get out on the water.

We’ll be working with an experienced, volunteer-run paddling club based in Canarsie. Certified trip leaders will guide the group and provide all necessary equipment and instruction for FREE.

10:00 AM start time
Please arrive by 9:30–9:45 AM so we can get everyone fitted, go over safety, and launch on time.

Trip Details
• Approx 2–2.5 hours on the water
• Guided group paddle (all levels)
• Possible stop on islands in Jamaica Bay
• 5:1 guide-to-paddler ratio

What to Wear (Important)
• Quick-drying clothes (no cotton)
• Clothes you don’t mind getting wet
• Water shoes or sandals with straps (required)

• Light snacks
• Sunscreen
• Change of clothes, hat & sun glasses (recommended)

Waiver
All participants will need to sign a waiver. Details will be sent closer to the event.
