Hike Details
Description: A beautiful Chilterns walk, a circular trail, taking you through scenic woodlands, across meadows, offering views of the hills, and eventually arriving at the historic National Trust property, Hughenden Manor, Benjamin Disraeli's former home, with options for a stop at the cafe or picnicking at the gardens
Distance & Grade: Approx. 18km Easy to Moderate Mostly unpaved trails. Some inclines or uneven ground, Good fitness level required.
Pace: 4–5 km/hour with a few mindful pauses along the way
Break: 1 hour Lunch at a Cafe or picnic at the gardens. Includes access to toilet facilities 🚻
Cost: £1 collected on the day
What to Bring
Packed lunch , Sufficient water, Cash for Groupsave ticket (if using train option) and payment for the hike.
Comfortable backpack, Waterproof hiking shoes, Dress in layers and check current weather forecast
Important Notes
Some of the events require a participant to be able to walk 4 to 5 Km per hour and in some cases tough terrain too, please join only if you are medically fit.
A cancellation may occur in case of heavy rain or snow, transport's information might be changed and please always check any updates and turn on notifications.

Be respectful with RSVPs
If you are not able to attend, please cancel in good time. Frequent No-shows and late cancellations (less than 24 hours) affect members on the waiting list and may impact future participation.
Attendance matters
The organiser or event host reserves the right to prioritise members who are punctual, consistent, and show genuine interest in the group’s purpose
No entitlement
Joining from the waitlist or arriving without an RSVP is not acceptable. Please honour group etiquette, arrive on time, and understand that space is limited. “Plus-one” or “Guest” attendance is not permitted unless you have obtained prior permission from the event host.
Maintain group harmony
This is a group for wellbeing, not for debate, heated arguments, or emotionally charged exchanges. Please respect others’ personal space and boundaries, avoid criticism or judgment, and help maintain a calm, peaceful atmosphere throughout the event.
Be mindful of group pace
Please try to stay aware of the group’s rhythm and pace, avoid walking too far ahead or behind. Coordinating with others helps keep the hike smooth and enjoyable for everyone.
No smoking or vaping during the walk
To support a clean and fresh group atmosphere, intoxicants, recreational drugs, smoking, and vaping are not permitted during the walk itself. Smoking can also pose a fire risk in dry conditions during the summer months.

This is an informal, and peer-led community gathering. There is no qualified hike leader or trained first aider present, the leader is an experienced hiker and sharing this as a hobby. .
