Memorial Weekend Paddle - Lake Hartwell at Lawrence Bridge

Let's paddle the Keowee River leg of Lake Hartwell. This is a beautiful section, with very little development and plenty of wildlife. The river is wide and deep, with little or no current. We expect little boat traffic at this location, even on a holiday weekend.
We'll meet at 10:00, and launch by 10:30. Expect to paddle about 7 miles at about a moderate 3 to 3.5 mph pace. Bring a lunch, and we'll stop mid-way. Cash boxes for parking are shut down. There are restrooms at the launch.
As always, life jackets must be worn. This is a meetup, and you are responsible for your own safety.
