Paddle the Little River from Stamp Creek Landing

Details

The Little River is a beautiful undeveloped section of Lake Keowee. From Stamp Creek Landing, we will go one half mile north and then west, following the Little River. Sandbars keep motorboats out after the first mile or so. We can travel approximately 3 miles up the river (little to no current) before we stop at shallows and small rapids.

Expect to paddle about 7 miles. We typically make one stop at lunch upriver, and paddle a 3 to 3.5 mph pace.

Meet at 10:00 for a 10:30 AM launch. There are parking spaces and ramps on both the south and north sides of the landing. We will be paddling north, so will launch on that side (left side as you drive in). There are no fees at this landing. There are rest rooms at the landing.

PFDs are required for all participants.
