It's cold. It's dark. Let's have a party. Which appears to be a universal theme, but gets wrapped up in random religious stuff, because of course it does. Anyway, seems every culture with proper winter has a thing around the solstice, so let's do a thing too.

Rules for White Elephant-Bring two wrapped gifts, which must cost no more than $2 each. Used stuff is okay because we're just amusing ourselves. You are allowed to reserve one of your gifts for no trading, so you should be able to leave with one thing that you're actually happy to own. I'll bring a bunch of gift bags if you are feeling lazy, and sufficient weird crap in case you forget or didn't know about it. Also I have too many gift bags. No idea where they all came from.

DEREK, DO WE WANT PEOPLE TO COME EARLY TO DECORATE YOUR PLACE? If so, everybody should bring random decoration stuff.
