🍻 Hackney Wick Social Club — First Meetup!

Let’s meet some local people!

This will be a relaxed drink and a chance to meet other people from Hackney Wick and the surrounding area. No agenda, no networking, and no need to know anyone beforehand — just grab a drink, have a chat, and see who turns up.

I’m keeping the first one very simple — I’ll book a local pub (TBC), and that’s about as much organising as I’ll be doing. 😂 I’ll be there with a drink, so all you need to do is say hello!

Coming alone? Absolutely fine — that’s kind of the point.

We can also chat about what everyone would like to do with the group in future — walks, dinners, creative activities, coffee, more drinks, or something completely different.

No pressure, no expectations — just a drink, some friendly faces, and hopefully a few new friends. 🍻❤️

💸 One slightly painful detail…

I’m really sorry to ask for £2 to RSVP to this event! Meetup charges me £45 a month to run the group, so the £2 is simply to help cover that cost.

I’m not trying to make any money from this — I’m just trying not to be £45 out of pocket every month while I figure out whether this little experiment actually works. 😂
