Black History Month & African American Mental Health Awareness Brunch
For Black Women Mental Health Professionals.
February is Black History Month, a time to honor the resilience, leadership, and contributions of Black communities. In California, the second week of February is officially recognized as African American Mental Health Awareness Week through Assembly Concurrent Resolution 150 (2010).
This intimate brunch is exclusively for Black Women Mental Health Professionals including therapists, clinicians, counselors, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, peer support specialists, coaches, and wellness practitioners. The gathering is designed to center our lived experiences, professional journeys, and collective healing while creating space for meaningful connection and collaboration.
What to expect
- We will be intentionally highlighting the work of Black women in mental health, sharing resources, and strengthening our professional community in a supportive, affirming environment.

This brunch is a networking and relationship-building space for Black women in mental health.
