Hi All,

We got off to a fine start at our launch meeting on Jan. 4th. As mentioned we'll be meeting once a month. At our next meeting we'll concentrate on picking one name and one main goal for the health and life extension movement.

Because our speakers, including the renowned Aubrey de Grey, were able to cover so much ground, including audience participation, there was no opportunity for us for discuss choosing the movement's name and main goal.

So we'll devote the next entire meeting to that crucial need, and talk about how to further organize and lift-off our global movement. This will include forming a PAC, having demonstrations, educating the world-wide public, and publicity.

At the end, time permitting, we may hear from the Life-Extension comedian, and John Cassady on measuring one's biological clock.

So, once again, choose the name(s) you think best from the following list (or one of your own). We'll discuss the efficacy of each member's choices.

MOST PROMINENT POSSIBILITIES:
(Note -- Many names are already in use by other organizations, and can be easily appropriated for general use.)

RAAD (Revolution Against Aging And Death)
Strong, Direct, Intriguing, Clearly suggests "radical."

Include-Everyone
Humanistic, Inclusive, Intriguing (We want to include everyone in the coming control of aging.)

HALE -- or -- Health And Life Extension -- the name we're using for this Meetup group. Use of the acronym is optional. (Direct, Has word "health." Positive connotation -- "hale and hearty") Problem: As discussed at the last meeting, translation of the inner words to other languages might be an issue.

SAD -- Sickness Aging, and Death -- as part of a name. So "Stop SAD," or some such name is worth a mention near the top.

Everyone Evolving -- Many think indefinite perfect-health life extension is the next step in evolution. Humanistic evolution is crucial as well.

OTHER POSSIBILITIES: (Many, as mentioned, are already used by organizations and can be adopted as a name of the entire movement.)

The Huvement (a huvement -- pronounced "you've-ment" is a movement that affects all of humanity)
??????????????

What is the purpose of any movement? Typically, to change a given society’s perspective in a particular area. In our case, it’s to affirmatively effect all of humankind’s thinking about health and life extension. We have a movement, but it is not organized or coalesced.

To insure that as many people as possible now alive (rich and poor) are included in what is very likely inevitable -- the achievement of a perfect-health indefinite lifespan, the relevant research needs to be accelerated.

Think of any successful movement, #MeToo, Black Lives Matter, Feminism, and so on – all have one recognizable short name and one identifiable objective. We are known by many names: Health Extension, Longevity, Anti-aging, Rejuvenation, Life Enhancement, Transhumanism, The Singularity, etc.etc. The U.S. and world public has little recognition that our movement even exists, so how can they support it?

We need to decide on one definitive name, and one main goal (likely research acceleration), and then otherwise organize and promote The _________________Movement. Then we can become what we deserve to be. The most important movement in the history of the world.
