## The Artist’s Way: A 12-Week Journey for the Healthy Sensitive

Tuesdays, 12PM PT | 1 hour | September – December (Thanksgiving week off)
Do you feel like there’s more creativity inside you waiting to come out—but life’s noise keeps getting in the way? This fall, our Healthy Sensitive community is walking through Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way together, week by week.
This isn’t about hustling harder or pressuring yourself to “produce.” It’s about creating a safe, compassionate space to explore your inner artist, reconnect with joy, and let your creativity flow in ways that feel nourishing.

### What to Expect

  • Weekly Gatherings: We’ll meet every Tuesday at 12PM PT for one hour of gentle discussion, encouragement, and shared reflection.
  • Step-by-Step Guidance: Together we’ll move through Cameron’s 12-week program, which blends journaling, reflection, and creative exercises designed to help you uncover and recover your creative self.
  • Optional Writing Focus: November is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). If you’ve ever thought, “I think I have a book in me,” this could be your moment. For those who want to use the structure of NaNoWriMo to get words on the page, we’ll hold space for that energy. For those who don’t, no worries—you’ll still be right where you need to be.
  • Ease and Compassion: This group will honor the Healthy Sensitive way—no perfectionism, no grinding, no shame. Just steady encouragement, tools to support your creative process, and space to explore at your own pace.

### Why Join?

  • Reclaim your creative voice
  • Find gentle accountability in a supportive group
  • Balance the desire to “get it out” with the need to move with care and compassion
  • Connect with others who understand the sensitive journey

✨ Come as you are. No prior experience needed. Bring your curiosity, your sensitivity, and your willingness to show up for yourself each week.

Also: If you miss a week or can't make all the weeks, no problem! This is simply my attempt at creating a bit of structure and consistency for those who want to collaborate with others who share a passion for creating. Feel free to jump in mid-way or drop off mid-way. This is an all-enthusiasm, zero-pressure gathering

### Week 1: Safety

We’ll talk about the tools of Morning Pages (three pages of stream-of-consciousness writing) and the Artist Date (a weekly solo playdate with your creative self). Exercises focus on identifying limiting beliefs and setting a safe, playful tone for the journey.

### Week 2: Identity

Explore old messages you’ve received about creativity—what voices shaped your sense of self? Journaling and reflection help tease out where those beliefs came from and whether they still serve you.

### Week 3: Power

Notice where comparison, fear, or old patterns drain your energy. Exercises include “detective work” around past interests and passions, and small actions to reclaim your creative spark.

### Week 4: Integrity

This week is about alignment—what feels true for you? Activities include identifying synchronicities, noticing when you say yes but mean no, and reconnecting with authentic desires.

### Week 5: Possibility

We’ll explore “what if” exercises to expand your imagination. Journaling prompts encourage daydreaming, visioning, and play. This is where many people start to feel doors opening.

### Week 6: Abundance

Shift into gratitude and noticing support all around you. Exercises may include list-making (things you love, things you wish you had more of) and finding small, affordable ways to nurture your inner artist.

### Week 7: Connection

This week emphasizes connecting with your creative source. Activities include writing letters (to yourself, to creativity, to a younger version of you) and noticing how inspiration shows up in daily life.

### Week 8: Strength

Build resilience by revisiting past successes and acknowledging the progress you’ve made. Journaling focuses on times you’ve overcome resistance or followed through with courage.

### Week 9: Compassion

Here we soften. The exercises help release perfectionism and inner criticism. Prompts encourage rewriting the inner dialogue with gentleness and humor.

### Week 10: Self-Protection

This is about healthy boundaries around your energy. Exercises include identifying “toxic playmates,” practicing saying no, and creating environments that support your creative process.

### Week 11: Autonomy

Journaling centers on independence and trusting your own instincts. Activities include revisiting goals you set earlier and noticing which ones feel genuinely yours.

### Week 12: Faith

The closing week celebrates momentum and invites trust in your ongoing creative path. Exercises include visioning forward, writing affirmations of support, and designing rituals to sustain your creativity.
